Our Mission Statement
Connecting God and people for LIFE to happen!
At Connect4Life Church, we are striving each day to connect poeple to Jesus Christ and the fullness of His presence in their lives. We are known for serving our commuities, and believe that every relationship is an opportunity for life to bloom.
Our goal is for each person to be CONNECTED with the Lord and be a part of the church. We desire for every person to GROW in their relationship with the Lord thrugh scripture, prayer, and worship. We seek to have every person fulfill God's purpose through the Great Commission and by SERVING in our church and communities. Our church also exists to raise up the future leaders of the Kingdom of God, and to GO be witnesess of Christ's love.
RELATIONSHIP(Luke 10:27) He answered, "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind' and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"(Hebrews 10:24,25) And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another- and all the more as you see the Day approaching.(John 15:13) Greater love has not one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends.
We want to see every person establish a healthy relationship with the Lord, and with other people. Believing that we are at our best, when He is at His best in us. We want to be transparent and genuine with each other, living life together. We meet in LIFECell gatherings to spur on each other in our faith, and see our relationships grow.
GROWTH (SPIRITUAL/LIFE)(1 Corinthians 12-14/12:4,5) There are different kinds of gifts, but the same spirit distributes them. there are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are diffeent kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.(Acts 8:14-17) When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the Word of God, they sent Peter and John to Samaria. When they arrived, they prayed for the new believers there that they might receive the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit had not yet come on any of them; they had simply been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they recieved the Holy Spirit.(Philippians 1:9-11) And this is my prayer; that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes trhough Jesus Christ- to the glory and praise of God.
We believe that all growth starts with spiritual growth, but that God wants to see His children live good lives...for His glory and honor. We want to see people equipped to grow both spiritually and in everyday life.l
FAMILY(Deuteronomy 6:1-2; 7-9) These are the commands, decrees and laws the Lord your God directed me to teach you to observe in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess, so that you, your children and their children after them may fear the Lord your God as long as you live by keeping all his decrees and commands that I give you, and so that you may enjoy long life...Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.(Psalm 78:1-6) My people, hear my teaching; listen to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth with a parable; I will utter hidden things, things from of old— things we have heard and known, things our ancestors have told us. We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done. He decreed statutes for Jacob and established the law in Israel, which he commanded our ancestors to teach their children, so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children.(Ephesians 4:12) ...to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up...
We work to establish discipleship in a family context. We believe that parents are the primary teachers and discipleship leaders for their children. Our goal as a church is to equip and resource parents and families to live a life for the Lord together as a strong healthy family. We want to live life together all throughout the week, not only ato our LIFECell gatherings, but to truly live life together.
RESOURCE CHURCH(Isaiah 58:6-9) “Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter— when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard. Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I.(Matthew 5:13-16) “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.(Matthew 28:19,20) Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”(2 Corinthians 5:14,15) For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.
We believe that every member is a minister, and that we have a mandate from the Lord to share "The Good News," to all. We understand our passion, gifts, and talents; so that we can serve in our communities, work in ministry, have a global perspective of missions, and see our local communities changed for Christ.
